Week of 9/21/25 and Free Apples : )

Dear Church Family,
As you watch the news and talk to friends this week... Pray. Pray that the Lord would allow you to cut through the noise to things of eternal importance and ask people personal questions about their understanding of Jesus more than who is saying what. Pray that those who have taken a step of faith in reading their Bibles or coming to church this last week will take another step until they see and know Jesus. Pray that your heart will not become cynical or proud in these times, but compassionate and humble as you boldly share who Jesus is and what he has done for you and all mankind. Pray.

Home Enjoyment
Read Galatians 6:7-10.
The context of this passage has Paul encouraging the church in Galatia to bear one another's burdens and share what they have to meet their teachers and each other's needs. He then enters into the idea of reaping and sowing and to not be deceived.
How could someone be deceived about what they choose to sow or not sow into someone else's life?
What about what we sow in life for ourselves, have you ever felt like you put a lot into something only to feel like someone tricked you or you deceived yourself about its importance or value?
What does Paul say is the end of our fleshly investments?
What does it mean to sow to the Spirit?
When it says reaping to the Spirit will lead to eternal life, in what ways is this true?
Is the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22 eternal? How so?

What are some of the reasons you grow weary in doing good?
Does it surprise you that love at its very core is sacrificial? Costly?
Does sowing for a future you cannot see seem foolish to you? Especially if you may never see the reward in this lifetime?
Read Matthew 25:31-46.
How does this help your understanding of verses 9 and 10?

Pray for a fresh view of Jesus and faith to 'do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.'
