Week of 3/17/24
Dear Church Family,
I was reminded in a conversation after Sunday's service that the christian life is one of never-ending growth. That is really good news, because it means we aren't done yet, there is more to be learned, there is more of Jesus to be known and lived. We need to be alert to the things which would keep us from desiring that, and open to how the Lord would help us desire more of Him in our lives.
Home Enjoyment
Read Ephesians 4:25-32
What is the put off, put on, and the why in each of these examples? (Vs 25-29 and 31,32) Which area is the Holy Spirit speaking to you personally about here?
What is he inviting you to 'put on'?
How does what you know about Jesus help you do that?
Pray specifically that God would help you understand and 'know' Jesus better in responding to that area.
Extra Credit
Look at this Put Off and Put On list.
Pick three and look up the scriptures that go along with them.
This Saturday...
Easter Games and Egg Hunt in the Wetzig's backyard this Saturday at 10:30!
As always, one of the true highlights of my week is gathering as the church to worship Jesus together. Looking forward to seeing you all then, Lord willing!
In Christ,
Pastor Phillip
