Week of 3/24/24
Hello Church Family,
I am so thankful for Mark's preaching and tying together Palm Sunday and our study in Ephesians. We serve a Risen Savior who has power over death and he calls us to walk in his love and power today through the help of the Holy Spirit, whom Jesus himself described as the 'Counselor' (John 14:26-28).
I pray this home enjoyment is a blessing in thinking through this special week of preparation for Easter and in loving Jesus first and most with all your heart, mind, strength and soul!

HOME ENJOYMENT QUESTIONS FROM 3/24/3034
On Palm Sunday the Jewish people had a mistaken idea of what Jesus was going to do for them. What is it you want Jesus to do for you, your family, your job, your country? How do we line those desires up with God’s will and plan?
Has someone you loved ever “grieved” you or brought you sorrow? Reflect on that experience and think about how God feels when we fail or disobey.
Last week in the church email Pastor Phillip posted a list of 78 “graveclothes/grace clothes” the Bible exhorts us to put off and put on. What graveclothes are you struggling with? What grace clothing would you particularly like to put on? Admit this to your Counselor, the Holy Spirit, and ask for his help. Pick a verse in that area to study or focus on this week.
Are you convinced that when the Bible talks of right and wrong behavior it is not simply a legalistic list of dos and don’ts? Are you able to express to someone why not?
I hope you are able to join us and invite others to come and hear about our Risen Savior this weekend!
Remember Good Friday (7pm), Sunrise Service (6:30am), Easter Brunch (9am and bring food to share!), and Easter Service (10:15am).
In Christ,
Pastor Phillip
