Week of 12/21/25 and Christmas Eve

Dear Church Family,
My heart is full of joy and concern for all of you this Christmas. I know these are such precious times for so many and an opportunity to connect with family and have meaningful conversations and catch up. I am personally feeling that as I have one home from college and another not far from being out of the house. May God grant us those things as we pray for God to bless those times of connection. I am praying with you for those things.
I also know that these are times when temptations to despair, bitterness, or lust can be stoked by unmet expectations, regrets, and joining in with the spirit of 'more' this season in order to fill our longings. I am praying with you that the truth of the gospel reigns supreme over those things. For all who have trusted in Jesus, the things of the past have no authority, he is the grace you and those around you need today, and he is the greatest treasure and fulfillment of those who trust in him. Those who hunger and thirst for his righteousness will be filled (Matt 5:6).

Delight yourself in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:7

Let us pray for one another, reach out to one another, speak the truth and hope of Jesus into every conversation and every corner of your heart and do the same for others where the Lord gives opportunity.

Our Christmas Eve service is at 7pm this Wednesday, I hope you all can come! If you have a favorite Christmas cookie you'd like to share with your church family we look forward to trying it. : )

If you missed the message or the children's choir from this last Sunday I invite you to take some time to Behold and Believe.

May God Bless Each of You,
Pastor Phillip
